We’re Will, Amie and Austin. Go Yolo Travel grew from one honeymoon we were told we couldn’t afford—and our refusal to give up on it.
WHERE IT BEGAN
Why we started
Go Yolo Travel began while planning our honeymoon in 2022.
We had a dream trip in mind: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and then a few days relaxing in a 5-star resort in Cancun before flying home.
With a budget of £5,000, we approached several travel agents hoping they could help us put the trip together. The quotes we received were far higher than expected, and one of the UK’s biggest travel companies even told us that the trip we wanted simply wasn’t possible within our budget.
We refused to accept that.
DOING IT OURSELVES
Researching & discovering
After countless hours researching flights, hotels, routes and booking options, we discovered that by taking control of the planning ourselves, we could build the exact trip we wanted for the budget we had.
And we did.
We visited every destination on our wishlist, stayed in incredible hotels, finished the trip in a beautiful 5-star resort in Cancun, and stayed within our £5,000 budget.

Documenting adventures
It became the best holiday of our lives.
More importantly, it taught us something valuable: many people are paying far more than they need to, not because better options don’t exist, but because they simply don’t know where to find them.
That experience sparked a passion for finding smarter ways to travel.
After years of planning our own trips, comparing prices, testing experiences and finding ways to stretch our travel budget further, we decided to create Go Yolo Travel.
Our goal is simple: to prove that incredible travel doesn’t have to come with an incredible price tag.
